Community Outreach
Magnolia Alliance Center Against Domestic Violence
Located in Batesville, Mississippi, this local organization helps women and their children find a safe harbor from domestic violence. Holy Innocents supports the Magnolia Alliance Center Against Domestic Violence through donations and funding.
Prison Ministry
In partnership with St. Peter’s Episcopa Church in Oxford, Mississippi, Holy Innocents participates with the annual on-site holiday visits and services within the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Matthew 25: Ministries, Pill Bottle Recycling
Anyone in the parish or community is welcome to participate in this ministry which recycles pill bottles for developing countries. A collection box is located near the front entrance of the church. Pill bottles must be clean and all labels removed.
Prayer Shawls
A small but dedicated group of knitters and crocheters meet on a regular basis to create original prayer shawls as gifts for the sick or needy. To learn more about this ministry, contact Laura Griffin at lauragriffin1976@gmail.com
